How do XP and levels work?

You earn XP (experience points) each time you complete a session. Longer and more challenging sessions award more XP. As your XP accumulates, you level up automatically. Your current level and XP are shown on your profile screen. Levelling up is purely for motivation — there are no paywalls or locked features tied to your level.

How do session tiers unlock?

Move Daily offers three session tiers: Quick (around 5 minutes), Standard (around 10 minutes), and Extended (around 20 minutes). All tiers are available from the start — there is nothing to unlock. You can choose whichever tier suits your available time each day. Your preferred tier is saved as a default so you can jump straight in.

How do I enable or disable daily reminders?

During onboarding, Move Daily will ask if you would like a daily reminder notification. You can also manage this at any time by going to your device's Settings app, finding Move Daily in the app list, and toggling Notifications on or off. You can also adjust the reminder time from within the app settings if you find the default time does not suit your routine.

What happens if I miss a day?

Your daily streak will reset to zero if you miss a day — streaks require at least one completed session every calendar day. However, your XP and level are never affected by a missed day. All the progress you have earned stays with you permanently. Think of a streak reset as a fresh start, not a loss.

How do I reset my profile?

To reset your profile and start fresh, go to the Profile tab and scroll to the bottom. You will find a Reset Profile option. This will clear your profile photo, gender selection, and personal preferences. Your session history, XP, and streak data are managed separately and can also be reset from the same screen if you wish to start completely from the beginning.

Is my data backed up or synced?

All data is stored locally on your device. Move Daily does not sync to iCloud, the cloud, or any server. This means your data is private and secure, but it also means that if you delete the app or get a new device, your history will not carry over. We recommend this trade-off for the privacy benefits, but please be aware of it before switching devices.
